It Takes a Village to Make A Village (Out of Cardboard Boxes)
You are invited to participate in The Global Cardboard Challenge, here at SSU in the Stevenson Quad on Friday, October 10, 2014. The event runs from 10:00 – 4:00.
A Campus Wide Event for All Ages
We welcome SSU students to join us in teaming up with the SSU Children’s School preschoolers, and local elementary and high school kids to Make a Village out of discarded cardboard and other recyclables in the Stevenson Hall Courtyard!
This lively event brings together what we like best about creativity, collaboration, community, sustainability, resourcefulness, and the joy of play and imagination to make something beautiful and unique in just one day.
We are documenting the event in video and pictures, and will share what we have made both at table on SSU’s Sustainability Day and with other participants in the Global Cardboard Challenge Event via the Imagination Foundation and the web.
Be Part of Something Creative, Something Cool, Something Global
Be part of this great event! Sign up online to help out or simply come and participate. We need all levels of helpers to make a village as great as we can imagine!
Bring your lunch! Bring some cardboard! Enjoy music on the green organized by ASP while we create! Have fun! Make something cool!
A Project from The Startup Classroom
Brought to you by The Startup Classroom, a collaborative partnership between the School of Education and The School of Business and Economics at SSU. Want to hear more about The Startup Classroom?
