  • Student Center Ballroom B/C (map)

Reza Farazmand is a writer and cartoonist who lives and draws in San Francisco. Reza is the author of the webcomic Poorly Drawn Lines, which he started his freshman year of college. Reza started putting his comics on the Internet in college, and was soon surprised to learn that this activity could make for an actual career. Reza’s work has been featured on Comedy Central, BuzzFeed, Mashable and his comics are often found on Reddit and Pinterest too. Poorly Draw Lines is about how “life is strange, people are weird, and it’s important to point out all the absurdities—and create new ones—to help take the edge off.”
