Join us for a multi-generational evening of spirited and inspiring dance, at the SSU/SoCo Spring Dance Concert. Dancers from Sonoma State's Dance Program will join SoCo Dance Theater's amazing artists to perform new and repertory dances, along with Seattle-based guest choreographers Mark Haim and Wade Madsen. SoCo Dance Members include Nicole Basque, Kristen Daley, Mira-Lisa Katz, Nancy Lyons, Virginia Matthews, Gloria E. Rubio-Verduzco, and Mercy Sidbury. Thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation of Sonoma County, the Friday, May 8 show will showcase young dancers from El Molino, Maria Carrillo and Santa Rosa Art Quest High Schools of Sonoma County. Enjoy this celebration of dance as a vital expression of being alive at any age!
