Siblings Weekend


Siblings Weekend provides an opportunity for residents to invite their little brothers, sisters, cousins or neighbors to campus for the weekend.

Many activities take place during Siblings Weekend to keep kids of all ages entertained from movies, to crafts, to video tournaments, to Karaoke and more. Residents are responsible for meals and lodging.

This event is FREE to participate. All you need to do is register your sibling online by February 1 and then attend an info meeting (meeting dates to be sent after registering). A FREE siblings weekend shirt will be provided to your sibling(s) for the weekend (must register before February 1).

Friday, February 12th

SIBLINGS WEEKEND Registration, Crafts, Pizza and More @6-9:30pm; Student Center WB

Welcome SSU Siblings young and old!!!!!!  Come on over and check your siblings in, have some pizza and take part in some of our fun and games.

 

The Center For Performing Arts Presents: Into the Woods  @7:30pm; Person Theatre

An ambivalent Cinderella? A lascivious Wolf? A Prince Charming with a roving eye? A Witch ... who raps? They're all among the wishful characters in Stephen Sondheim's fractured fairy tale. When a Baker and his Wife learn they've been cursed with childlessness by the Witch next door, they embark upon a quest for the special objects required to break the spell.           

 

Late Nights with Lobo Featuring Game Night @9pm; Lobos

Every Friday night there is a “Late Night with Lobo” event happening in Lobo’s. It is a great place to take friends, make friends, and win some awesome prizes. Activities will rotate between karaoke, trivia, and game night. Tonight, join a team, bring a team, and play all of your favorite board games for chances to win!!

Barrel Room Weekend Event, Featuring Cutie Cards & Crafts @7pm; Barrel Rm

Every Saturday night there will be a FREE, fun, relaxing, creative event happening in the Barrel room (next to the Cooperage). Come on by and check it out. Tonight, there will be crafts to make cards for yourself, friends, family, and special people! We will have delicious cookies and snacks as well.

 

Scene It Big Screen Movie Featuring, Monster’s University @7 and 9pm; Warren Theatre (Ives 101)

A look at the relationship between Mike and Sulley during their days at Monsters University -- when they weren't necessarily the best of friends. Starring Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buschemi
