Monday, February 22nd
“Major Matchmaking” Workshop with Academic Advising & Career Services, Beaujolais Meeting Room, 3-4pm
A workshop focused on assisting students in defining their own interests, goals and needs in order to help them navigate how to choose a major that best fits and suits the students’ needs and interests.
Tuesday, February 23rd
Sophomore Challenge Kickoff: Resource Fair and Reception, Student Center Ballroom B, 12:30-2:30pm
Social gathering to kick off the weeks’ events featuring several on campus resources for second year students, including JUMP, the HUB, Study Abroad, Student Government, ASP, SYE, U-engage, CAPS, and much more. Light refreshments will be served.
Wednesday, February 24th
Panel: “Why Sophomore Year Matters,” Beaujolais Meeting Room, 5-6pm
Panel of upperclass students and alumni speaking about what they got involved in during their sophomore year, and why Sophomore year is KEY and not too late to get involved.
Thursday, February 25th
Career Fair, Thursday, February 25th, Student Center 1-5pm
Sophomore year is the perfect time to begin talking with potential employers, learning about jobs of interest, and searching for an internship! Join us along with 112 Employers and hundreds of students at one of the largest events on campus.
Friday, February 26th
“Building Take-Over” & SYE Booth, Student Center & Recreation Center,
Sophomores are encouraged to join the festivities and “take over” the Student Center and Recreation Center. There will be tons of activities, crafts, trivia, free food, music, a photo booth, giveaways, and more! Don’t miss out on a fun way to kick off the year with your fellow Seawolves! Come by the SYE booth to get your passport stamped and enter our raffle!
