This will include coffee/tea, lunch, and parking for both days. If this cost presents a barrier, we are offering a limited number of scholarships, especially for those who were affected by the fires; please visit the website for an application.

The symposium features scientists, land managers, regulators and others across the western U.S. presenting the latest information about the north bay fires, fire ecology, wildland urban interface issues, and the future. Anticipated attendance is 400-500 people. Agenda attached.

May 7 & 8 • will be devoted to presentations by subject experts, with question-and-answer sessions and ample opportunity for audience participation during structured discussions. The program can be found on the website.

May 9 • will feature a series of field trips to fire-affected communities and landscapes in Sonoma and Napa Counties. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Field trip registration is separate and can be completed at http:/ucanr.edu/lwfield
