30th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall

Commemorating the fall of the Berlin Wall separating East and West Germany from 1961 to 1989, Elena Magill, Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) from Germany, University of Bonn, will talk about the history and meaning of the Berlin Wall as well as the peaceful revolution that contributed to its dismantling on November 9, 1989. The presentation will be followed by a discussion with former GDR citizens who witnessed this significant historical moment.
