Women are typically paid only 80% of what men make doing the same work, and the gap is even wider for women of color. This can result in the loss of over a million dollars in a women’s lifetime. On March 26, Dr. Laurel McCabe, Professor of Psychology will lead the American Association of University Women’s workshop on salary negotiation. This is especially for undergraduate students, for young women and underrepresented individuals to learn the skills to negotiate your salary from your first job following graduation!
Attendance is free, but registration is required. Please visit http://bit.ly/aauw_workshop
If you are a grad student, staff member, faculty member or community member, please note this event is reserved for undergraduate students and we will be hosting a Work Smart Salary Negotation Workshop just for you. Save the date for April 16th 4-6pm! Or email Audra at email@example.com for more information.
Please note the correct date for this event is March 26.
