This past weekend was quite the exciting one here at Sonoma State! Between all of our Seawolves moving in, Big Nite, and Sonfest there was plenty going on all weekend long.
Move-In Weekend brought with it a whole new class of Seawolves as well as some returning ones. Freshmen students and families got the chance to get to know one another during the Move-In Weekend BBQ. Welcome to the Class of 2018!
Big Nite was one of the first campus wide event this semester and it was a hit! Carnival rides took place in Parking Lot D and the Student Center played host to henna tattoos, tarot card reading, caricatures, arts & crafts, and even a WolfBucks cash catch where students got a chance to win free WolfBucks! The Rec Center was packed with Seawolves enjoying Zumba classes, zip lining, and much more!
Sonfest gave students the chance to get acquainted with our amazing Rec Center. Between the rock climbing wall, inMotion, and intramural sports the Rec Center is key to living and enjoying a healthy lifestyle. At Sonfest, students got to try out the rock wall, win free stuff, and take tours of the facilities.
