Lobo's plays host to Open Mic Nights throughout the semester and they always fills up quick with some talented acts and a supportive crowd. This past Wednesday it was standing room only as Seawolves took the stage to entertain their peers. Sonoma State student, Miles Philippe is a fan of live music but this was his first time heading over to Lobo's for the Open Mic performances. He had been rock climbing at the Rec Center and decided to come over and take a listen to those brave enough to take the stage. Amanda Cowan and her friend Milan Morales came to check it out and were definitely surprised by how packed it was. It was Amanda's first time checking out Live at Lobo's and she said that she is definitely a fan of the Open Mic Nights and will be coming back again.
Open Mic Nights are the perfect way to spend a Wednesday night surrounded by friends and some awesome Seawolf talent! Live at Lobo's Open Mic Night happens the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. Sign-ups start at 7:30 pm and performances get started around 8 pm. Grab some friends and come check it out!
