Sonoma Serves is Sonoma State's largest one day service project, which Join Us Making Progress hosts each year. Join Us Making Progress (JUMP), the community service program of the Associated Students Inc., provides Sonoma State University students the opportunity for personal growth, leadership, and education through service to the campus and the community. By organizing service and advocacy opportunities in response to our community's needs, JUMP encourages students to pursue purposeful action and education while promoting change and impacting our world.
This year Sonoma Serves is taking place on Saturday, October 11 from 9 AM - 3 PM at various non-profit agencies throughout Sonoma County. Last year there were over 600 students that came out to serve at various service projects that ranged from beach clean ups to rebuilding houses. This year JUMP is hoping to have over 700 students come out to volunteer.
