If learning how your own choices and daily routine can impact your overall health and wellness interests you, this challenge is for you! At Campus Recreation, concepts such as wellness, sustainability and living a healthy lifestyle are important to us! This has inspired the Get Healthy Challenge, a free program for ALL Sonoma State students, faculty and staff that is focused on improving overall health and wellness. The Get Healthy Challenge is five weeks long, from October 17th – November 18th and sign-ups can be done here! Some specifics: A profile is created and throughout the four weeks, habits and choices are logged and then points are given. The GHC leaderboard will be updated live on each profile, as well as the homepage and prizes will be given for points and participation! Points can also be earned through participating in events each week that are centered around teaching new healthy habits and encouraging wellness. The five weeks of the challenge are broken up into focus weeks:
Week 1 (Oct. 17- Oct 21st) Environmental Wellness
Week 2 (Oct. 24- Oct 28th) Physical Wellness
Week 3 (Oct. 31- Nov 4th) Intellectual Wellness
Week 4 (Nov. 7th- Nov 11th) Occupational & Social Wellness
Week 5 (Nov. 14th-Nov 18th) Emotional & Spiritual Wellness
