If you say that it is easy to wake up in the morning for your early class, you're lying. How many times have you been in the situation where you have already pressed snooze 3 times, and by the fourth you realize you have approximately 15 minutes to get out of bed and across campus to make it to your class? Here's some tips and tricks to sleep as long as possible before class.
1. Pack your bag the night before
Packing the night before ensures you won't forget anything in the morning rush. Think of this as 5 extra minutes of sleep too!
2. Make food the night before
Making food in the morning takes so long, so save yourself some time by making it the night before! Make extra dinner and pack some away for lunch the next day.
3. Set 2 very loud alarms back to back
Instead of pressing snooze a million times, set 2 alarms back to back at the latest time possible so you know you have to get up.
4. Eat on the go
Save time by laying out food that is easy to eat on the go! Grab a power bar and some fruit and eat it on the way to class.
5. Find a shortcut to class
Find the closest and least crowded parking lot, or the back route to you class to knock off some minutes.
6. Lay out clothes the night before
It doesn't matter if you're a male or female, picking out an outfit in the morning can take too much time. Sleep in longer by laying out clothes the night before. This helps eliminate the time you spend trying to find a pair of clean socks or your favorite sweatshirt.
