ASP would like to celebrate SSU’s Seawolf Pride by inviting all students to come together on August 31 at 11am to participate in T-Shirt Tie-Dyeing and positive chalk message/art in the Seawolf Plaza and Person Theatre Lawn (Next to Student Center). Bring your lunch, a blanket and invite your friends to come hang out between classes, while ASP hands out T-Shirts and supplies chalk for positive and uplifting messages for your fellow Seawolves. Come with an open mind, leave with so much more The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) is a modern art museum located in San Francisco, California. A nonprofit organization, SF MOMA holds an internationally recognized collection of modern and contemporary art, and was the first museum on the West Coast devote solely to 20th-century art. The museum's current collection includes over 33,000 works of painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, design and media arts. They are displayed on 170,000 square feet of exhibition space, making the museum one of the largest in the United States overall, and one of the largest in the world for modern and contemporary art. SFMMA reopened on May 14, 2016, following a major three year long expansion project. The expansion more than double the museum's gallery spaces and provides almost six times as much public space as the previous building, allowing SFMOMA to showcase an expanded collection along with the Doris and Donald Fisher Collection of contemporary art. These were SUCH A HUGE HIT in the spring so they are back by popular demand with two new scenarios, in 5 different rooms,  to work together on.  Bring your teams, classes, residence hall groups, clubs or just a group of friends to see if you can beat the clock and get out safely! An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape within a set time limit. The games are physical versions of "escape the room" video games.

RSA Safe Trick or Treat

Every year the Residential Student Association (RSA) and the Village Councils host a Halloween event for local elementary school kids! The event includes a Kiddie haunted house, haunted photos, craft and activity tables sponsored by the Village Councils and other SSU clubs, as well as bouncy house/slide and Chuggy the Bouncy train! Residents of Sauvignon also have volunteered to purchase and hand out candy to the kids that are old enough to walk around the buildings. Last year we had about 40 rooms hand out candy and the kids LOVED it! If you want to be a part of the event, and you live outside of Sauvignon, email mo.phillips@sonoma.edu and we will get you involved. If you live in Sauvignon, and want to hand out candy to the kids, please ask your CSA how you can do that. It's a great time and every year we have about 2-300 kids take part, it's a lot of fun! Hope to see you out there or see you handing out candy to our little goblins and ghouls :)

BJJC Presents SABA Campaign Self Defense Seminar with Adam Piccolotti

This event is intended to spread awareness of bullying and/or sexual assault in our community by providing students with the knowledge on how to defend themselves from various attacks. Students will be shown step by step instructions on how to break away or defend themselves in certain danger situations where they can participate by practicing with a friend. Adam who is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and professional Bellator MMA fighter will be teaching the seminar.

As part of our campaign, we strive to give students the power to take back control from attackers who intend to hurt them. This event will be promoted to the students as a free interactive seminar where they can learn physical techniques to protect themselves. This event can help ensure the safety of individual students who may face these challenges in the future.

This event is in support of Sexual Assault Awareness Month
