The film 'Meetings with Remarkable Men' is an exciting and dramatic account of the early life of George Gurdjieff. The film is adapted from his book with the same title. Gurdjieff lived during the beginning years of the 20th century and traveled throughout Asia with a group of like-minded comrades who called themselves ‘The Seekers of Truth’. He was himself a seeker of great knowledge, a visionary thinker, an eco-anthropological writer, and master teacher, who sowed many seed ideas into modern human culture which have sprouted in our day. Viewers may find the same questions that Gurdjieff struggled with are alive in themselves.
