The SSU APIAFSA and Sonoma County Japanese American Citizens League will be hosting a live mochi pounding demonstration on campus. Making and eating the sweet rice treat mochi has been a celebrated New Year’s tradition in Japan. All are welcome! Contact morimoto@sonoma.edu for more info.
