Community Healing Through Intersectionality

  • Student Center Ballroom A (map)

The third annual North Bay Womxn of Color Conference is organized and facilitated by Mujeres Activas en Letras y Cambio Social (MALCS) de SSU.The conference will offer a variety of workshops and panels centered around the experiences and challenges faced by womxn of color. We believe that intersectionality is central to community healing, political discourse and social justice movements. It is our hope that recognizing and honoring the differences between us as womxn of color will motivate us to reexamine the ways in which we interact with each other and help us begin to cultivate the creation of strategic alliances among womxn of color in our communities. Registration will remain open till the day of the event!
