These are just a few of the exhibits right now at the Aquarium. Explore habitat by habitat from the ocean's edge to the open sea, and meet all the amazing and awe-inspiring creatures that call the ocean home. From sea otters to seaweeds, their unique oceanfront location and timeless galleries bring the wonders of the ocean to life for our visitors. But beyond our exhibits, we are transforming what it means to be an aquarium. The mission of the Monterey Bay Aquarium is to inspire conservation of the ocean. Join us and immerse yourself. The legendary Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk welcomes visitors this season with rides, games, and nonstop fun! Ride two National Historic Landmarks: the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster and the Looff Carousel, in addition to thrill rides, family rides, and kiddie rides. Choose from over 300 games – both new and vintage – in the Casino Arcade, or play mini-golf at Neptune’s Kingdom. Laser tag and the nearby Boardwalk Bowl round out the fun. Take a self-guided historical walking tour or visit the Boardwalk Historium on the second floor of Neptune’s Kingdom: this free exhibit includes photographs and memorabilia from the Boardwalk’s first 100 years.  Your ticket price gets you a ride all the rides free bracelet for the day. There are still other attractions and events that may cost money, but you should have plenty to do down there!  We will leave at 9 am. The rides start at 12 noon. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is the Thrill Capital of Northern California. See bottlenose dolphins in spectacular presentations, observe pinnipeds (sea lions, seals and walrus) during fascinating demonstration shows and even see a tiger swim underwater during an incredible and educational tiger demonstration.
