Please join Dr. Alexander Kahn, Director of Orchestral Activities at Sonoma State University, for the third annual Day of Strings at Sonoma State University. Participants will have the chance to hear performances by our amazing string faculty, read great string ensemble literature by BIPOC composers, participate in masterclasses, learn about the college admissions process from the perspective of current music majors, and gain insights into how to effectively prepare for and take a college admissions audition.  Participants in the event will also receive up to three complimentary tickets to a performance by the world-renowned Julliard String Quartet in the award-winning Weill Hall at 3:00 p.m, as well as have access to an exclusive closed rehearsal session with the quartet.
