Things You Can Be Doing Outside During This Time

Being limited to staying indoors is tough- but this doesn’t mean you have to be completely closed off from the outside! Check out this list of things to do in the fresh air while still staying safe during this time:

Go On Walks!

It is important to still get up and move- not only for physical reasons, but also your mental health! Go on a walk around your neighborhood and enjoy the day.

Drink Your Morning Coffee/Tea

It’s refreshing to wake up and start your day outside. If it’s sunny, enjoy the sun! If it’s cloudy, bundle up and enjoy the warmth from your drink. This will start your day off on the right foot.

Take Your Homework Outside!

Change of scenery is good, especially with finals coming up! Grab your study materials and find a spot outside that works for you. This will help with giving you a fresh perspective when looking at your assignments.

Eating

Mix it up and have a picnic in your backyard or on the patio. Because why not?

Crafts and Games

Go back to the days when you were a kid and used to play outside all the time. Grab some family members, or roommates, and head outside to play catch, four square, use chalk, paint, or any of your childhood favs.

Garden

This is a great time to take up a new hobby- why not try gardening? For an easy start-up garden, check out this blog:

Exercise

Set up your home gym outside and enjoy the fresh air while you get your workout on!
